1. Machine Purchases

PEP have recently acquired two new machines to support our continued growth, an Engel Victory 220T tiebarless machine and an Engel E-MAC 180T electric machine. This represents the 20th Engel machine PEP have purchased since 2005.

Engel Victory 220T tie-bar-less machine

The Engel Victory 220T tie-bar-less machine replaces an old Sandretto Series 8 machine as part of our new for old machine program update.

Tie-bar-less technology gives us the following advantages:

  • A more accessible mould area – larger mould tools can be fitted to a smaller machine
  • Even greater precision and excellent mould protection
  • Lower energy consumption
  • Quicker mould tool changes
  • Fitted with a state of the art integrated controller

Engel E-MAC 180T electric machine

The Engel E-MAC 180T electric machine is the first electric machine we have purchased. It offers the following advantages:

  • Energy saving
  • Increased precision
  • Fast injection speeds
  • Lower maintenance
  • Quieter operation
  • Cleaner operation
  • Suitable for the packaging and medical sectors with cleanroom applications

2. Floor Repainted

On our summer shutdown this year and as part of our continued drive for excellence we have undertaken to have the floors repainted. Pictures are shown below.

With the purchase of the two new machines and repainting the factory floor it represents our continued drive for growth with re-investment in plant, equipment and maintaining our continuous improvement philosophy throughout the factory.

3. New Business for 2026

PEP have been awarded new business from a new customer in the automotive sector to supply JLR with 2 shot components for the L384 and L481 programmes.
